INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, thinly sliced
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (5.1 oz) box instant chocolate pudding
2 1/2 cups whole milk
1 (12 oz) bag semisweet chocolate chips Vanilla ice cream, for serving
PREPARATION
Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Sprinkle chocolate cake mix evenly into baking dish. Sprinkle pudding mix evenly over the cake mix. Pour milk over the top and using a whisk or fork, mix to combine.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and arrange butter slices over the top. Bake 35-40 minutes. Serve hot with ice cream. Enjoy!
